A Vector:
“i” is the horizontal component
“j” is the vertical component

Magnitude, Angle, and Component Equations:

Negative vector:
A vector that is negative, has the same magnitude, but the opposite direction.

Vector Addition:
Just add the components together.
The tail of the first vector to the head of the second vector.

Vector Subtraction:
Just subtract the components together.
The tail of the first vector to the head of the second vector in opposite direction (as -vector is just the vector but opposite direction).

Vector multiplication with constant/scalar:
Just multiply the constant into the components

Unit Vector:
Just a vector with magnitude 1, but also a direction, so basically just a direction.

Unit vector along the x-axis:
i-hat

Unit vector along the y-axis:
j-hat

Unit vector along the z-axis:
k-hat
